Experiential Insight diligently worked with me to create bespoke Coaching Tracks to transform how my engineering managers think about and approach their work. Getting out of the weeds of the day-to-day technical work can be tough, but these Coaching Tracks allowed them to dedicate 1-hour to their own development each week. The sessions allowed them to move out of left brain technical skills and further develop right brain creative thinking. This has allowed members of my organization to adopt a coaching mindset, increase their ability to communicate, better problem solve, and be more influential in the workplace. As a result of the initial pilot's success, we are now working with Experiential Insight on a 12 month program for our Managers, as well as our Individual Contributors and Directors.

We partnered with Experiential Insight to create a unique Coaching Workshop for our marketing organization after hearing about another business unit's success with their Coaching Tracks and Coaching Workshops. With recent organizational changes and shifts, we wanted to focus on strengthening connection and community between all team members. This wasn't a traditional ‘how-to’ type training, but instead a workshop designed to coach individuals to shift their mindsets.

Smeal alumni who participated in the executive coaching program, from top companies such as TD Bank, IBM, Commission on Economic Opportunity, found the Coaching Track to be complementary to the support they were receiving from our career center. As career coaches, we focus more on helping clients refine application materials, research respective industries, and prepare for various forms of interviewing. Areas that focus more on leadership, managing teams, and creating impact in the workplace are topics we touch on, but these are not areas we specifically coach, which is what Experiential Insight does. When we curated the tracks with Experiential Insight, we wanted to develop a program that complimented career coaching techniques with executive coaching principles. This is a powerful approach to coaching and being coached, and I believe it is what allows us to support our alumni meaningfully at any stage of their career.
